David Kruse

David Kruse is president of CommStock Investments, and AgriVantage, his commodity brokerage, crop insurance and risk management firm in Northwest Iowa. He is also President of Brazil Iowa Farms, LLC, a group of nearly 320 U.S. and Canadian farmers, who together pooled their money to raise approximately $25 million to invest in the purchase and operation of farmland in Western Bahia, Brazil. In the past several years, David has made more than 15 trips to Brazil, giving him a great deal of personal experience observing the competitive role that Brazil will play in the global market place …both in grains and livestock.
In the past 22 years he has produced The CommStock Report, an opinionated ag commentary and market analysis available daily on many radio stations covering the greater Midwest. He lives on and manages a 600 acre corn/soybean farm in Northwest Iowa . You will quickly note by his commentary and market analysis that he has extensive personal experience with grain and livestock marketing. He is a founding member of the Organization for Competitive Markets (OCM) and is a member of their International Trade Policy Committee. Mr. Kruse is a frequent keynote speaker at major U.S. agricultural conferences.

Dr. Roger McEowen

Roger A. McEowen is the Leonard Dolezal Professor in Agricultural Law at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, where he is also the Director of the ISU Center for Agricultural Law and Taxation. Before joining Iowa State in 2004, he was an associate professor of agricultural law and extension specialist in agricultural law and policy at Kansas State. From 1991-1993, Professor McEowen was in the full-time practice of law with Kelley, Scritsmier and Byrne in North Platte, Nebraska.
At Iowa State, Professor McEowen develops and conducts an educational program in agricultural law and policy and is responsible for developing the curriculum and instructional program for the Iowa Farm Income Tax Schools.
Professor McEowen conducts approximately 80-100 seminars annually across the United States for farmers, agricultural business professionals, lawyers, and other tax professionals. He also conducts three radio programs (two airing monthly and the other bi-weekly) heard across the Midwest. |

Angela Rieck-Hinz

Angela Rieck-Hinz is an Extension Program Specialist with Iowa State University. Currently she is the coordinator of the Iowa Manure Management Action Group which has responsibilities for managing a Web page related to all manure management aspects in Iowa, the development of educational materials for producers and service providers and electronic distribution of information related to manure management in Iowa. She coordinates workshops, field days and conferences related to manure nutrient management. She also serves as the coordinator for the Manure Applicator Certification program which is responsible for the development and delivery of the educational program to meet applicator certification requirements. Angie also serves as the editor of the Iowa Manure Matters-Odor and Nutrient Management Newsletter, a quarterly newsletter published by Iowa State University. She has a M.S. in Soil Fertility from Iowa State University. |

Kevin Good

Kevin Good, Cattle-Fax Senior Market Analyst and Manager of Corporate Accounts is responsible for the Kansas, Oklahoma and Southern Colorado feedlot regions and well as servicing Coroporate Accounts. Kevin was raised on a purebred cattle operation. He is a graduate of Kansas State University, where he was a member of both the meats and the livestock judging team. Kevin has been with Cattle-Fax since 1982 and has covered feedlot, stocker and cow-calf segments of the industry in numerous areas of the country.
Cattle-Fax is a member-owned organization whose objective is to help member cattlemen make more profitable marketing and management decisions. Cattle-Fax supplies its members, in all segments of cattle production and feeding throughout the United States, with timely market information, analyses and educational programs to assist them in making better bottom-line decisions.
