The Ag Committee was organized by the Spencer Chamber of Commerce. Members include crop and livestock producers, as well as representatives of many agri-business supporting the industry: seed and chemical companies, implement dealers, farm managers, bankers, radio and print media and real estate brokers. Other members, such as Spencer's Main Street businesses, are not considered agri-business, but are affected by the ag economy. Membership is free.

The committee members meet monthly and work on a series of annual events including:

-Ag Breakfast
-Take a Break
-Ag Experience
-Ag Adventure Day
