The Ag Committee

The Ag Committee was organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Spencer, Iowa.

Members include crop and livestock producers as well as representatives of the many agribusinesses supporting the industry: seed and chemical companies, implement dealers, farm managers, bankers, radio and print media, and real estate brokers.

Other members, such as Spencer's Mainstreet businesses, are not considered agribusiness, but are affected by the ag economy.

Membership is free. The Committee members meet monthly and work on a series of annual events, including these:

• Ag Outlook
• Farm/City Mixer
• Ag Breakfast

The goal is to help support the agricultural community by providing opportunities for education and communication.
